Phones became a big part of our lives. Most of people can’t imagine their everyday routine without their phones. They are introduced to us like a source of fun, happiness and something amazing.

Nowadays, teenagers spend much more time on their phones as they used to. They spend hours and hours watching YouTube, TikTok, for playing video games instead of doing something more useful. That’s why parents sometimes set limits and control their child’s time spent on the phone. Parents use their phones quite rarely – for messages, calls and sometimes in their free time, they watch a video or something else on their phone. They also get quite upset if they see a phone in your hands, right? Years ago, when our parents and grandparents were kids, they used to play outside more, with their friends. My grandma told me that they didn’t have phones and that kids were really happy and excited if someone in the village got a TV. Then, they spent evenings together watching a movie.

We use phones to find information about some topics. That’s a good part of having a phone. They give us free and quick access to information. Of course, we can also afford watching a movie on Netflix or playing a video game but not for too long. It can make our eyesight worse. We can also get addicted to technology. That might cause a lot of problems with your studies, communication …

We think that the phones and other devices we use now are already amazing, so modern and breath-taking. But I think that technology that will come with time is going to be even better. It’s hard to imagine what other options will be available on our phones. Even now, we can talk to our phones (Siri for example). Kitchen, there might be devices to cook instead of you. Who knows?
